Wheel alignment consists of adjusting the angles of wheels to reduce tyre wear and to ensure the vehicle is traveling straight. A wheel alignment service involves adjusting the vehicle’s suspension as well as the tyres and wheels.
WHEEL BALANCING
Balancing the wheels on your car is essential for safety and getting the most out of your tyres, making for a smoother ride and helping to minimise tyre wear.
Wheel balancing is critical as over time you will hit bumps and holes and drive along uneven road surfaces, both of which cause uneven treadwear. Aggressive driving and turning hard on corners can also have an effect.
TYRE REPLACEMENTS
If your tyres are due for replacement, or you're looking to upgrade or change brand, then head on into the workshop and we'll inspect them for you. We replace your tyres efficiently with a fast turnaround - most jobs can be completed the same day, to reduce your down time away from your vehicle.
We have a huge range of stock available on site across all prestigious brands, which equips us to replace and match any tyre requirement you may have, from lawnmowers, to heavy
industrial. Our large depot in Morwell provides easy access for large trucks and buses, so you literally get drive in – drive out service.
TYRE REPAIRS
Have you got a flat tyre, or a slow puncture? Don't forget that once you've replaced it with your spare and got yourself back on the road, you need to get that punctured tyre repaired as soon as possible.
Your spare tyre might not be the best choice for the journeys your vehicle is taking, and even more importantly, if you get another flay tyre, you don't want to be left stranded with no way to get home.
Bring your repair to LV Bandag and we'll inspect for damage once the tyre is stripped from the wheel and let you know if can be repaired. If so, we'll have the puncture repaired and refitted in no time. If not, we have a wide range of stock that you can purchase to replace your spare.
